Our place, K Kalu Foil, is situated at Durvey No. 101, Plot No. 3 in Rakholi. It is a bit out of the main city center, which gives us a bit more space to work with. We deal with foil products, so the workshop can get quite bright and reflective when the sun hits the metal. The building is a basic structure on a plot of land where we have our machines and storage. Rakholi is a quiet enough area, though there are other businesses nearby doing similar kinds of work. We spend our days operating the cutters and rollers to get the foil ready. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the details so nothing gets jammed. The floor is usually covered in small scraps of silver, and it can get quite warm during the summer months. We don't have a big team, just a few local guys who know how to handle the equipment. We started here because the location worked for us, and we’ve just stayed put. There aren't many frills to what we do; it’s just about producing the material and getting it packed up for transport. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours, and it gets the job done every day without fail. Sometimes we have to wait for the trucks to arrive, but there is always plenty of prep work to do while we wait.
