Vandana Fashion

Vandana Fashion is tucked away inside the Raghuveer Business Empire I over at Mata Chowk. It is a big building and sometimes people get a bit lost trying to find our unit, but once they see the sign, they usually make it in fine. We deal with all sorts of clothes here. Most of the time, the floor is covered in loose threads and scraps of paper from the pattern cutting. It’s not a quiet place because there is always some noise from the other businesses in the complex, but we got used to it. The lights in here are a bit too white, but they help us see the stitching clearly when the sun starts going down. We keep our stock on these metal racks that sometimes squeak if you move them too fast. Lunch happens whenever there is a gap in customers, usually sitting on a stool in the back corner with a tiffin box. We try to keep things organized, but during the busy season, stuff just piles up on the big wooden table in the center. People from around the neighborhood drop by mostly. It isn’t anything fancy, just a workspace where we get the job done and send things out. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up carrying bags down the stairs, which is a good workout if nothing else is going on that day for us.
