R R Transport

R R Transport is tucked away in the Swaminarayan Complex over in the Karimpura area of Surat. Specifically, we are at Kucha Pandit Dhaniram. It’s a bit of an older part of the city, which gives it a lot of character but also makes the streets a bit narrow. We handle transportation work from this office. Most of our time is spent on the phone or writing down schedules. The complex is usually buzzing with people coming and going. We don’t have any fancy decorations or big signs; it’s just a regular office where we do our work. Being in Karimpura means we are close to a lot of the local markets, which is helpful for the kind of moving we do. Every day is a bit different depending on what needs to be transported. Some days we are really busy and others we just sit and wait for the next call. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know who we are. It’s a simple way of living and working. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just provide a way for people to get their goods across the city or further out. The office is small but it serves our needs just fine. We just show up every day, drink some tea, and get through the list of tasks we have for the day.
