Gayatri Scissors

We are Gayatri Scissors, based over in Khodiar Nagar Socie in Badena. We’re tucked away not too far from the Bmg Mall, so it’s a familiar spot for anyone living around here. Our workshop is where all the actual work happens every day. It’s not a quiet place, that's for sure. There is always the sound of metal and sharpening going on from morning until evening. We’ve been making and fixing scissors for a long time now. It’s a specific kind of trade that requires a lot of hand-eye coordination and a good bit of patience. Sometimes our hands get pretty dirty from the oil and the metal dust, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media team. People just know us because we’ve been in this neighborhood forever. If someone has a pair of shears that isn’t cutting right, they usually bring them here. We take a look, see what needs to be done, and get to it. The shop is a bit cluttered with tools and spare parts everywhere, but we know where everything is. It might look like a mess to an outsider, but it’s our own system. We work long hours, especially when there’s a big batch of orders to finish. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. We just try to do right by the people who walk through our door and give them something that actually works.
