Punnayya & Co operates from 14 Jaya Chamarajendra Road. Our place is inside the Sai Asaram Market on the Ring Road in the Surat Lakshmi Building. If you have ever been to the Sai Asaram Market, you know it is a very busy and crowded place. There are always people moving goods around and trucks trying to navigate the narrow spaces. Our office in the Lakshmi Building is right in the middle of all that action. We have been here for many years and we are used to the constant noise of the market. The office is quite small and usually filled with boxes or samples of whatever we are trading at the time. We don't have a lot of space for anything fancy, so it’s just the basics like desks and chairs. The Ring Road traffic is always a bit of a nightmare, but that is just part of being in this location. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure our orders are correct. We drink plenty of tea throughout the day to keep us going. We know most of the other shopkeepers in the building and it feels like a little community. We don't have any big corporate goals or mission statements. We are just here to do our job and keep the business running smoothly year after year. It is a simple, hardworking life in the heart of the market.
