Our little shop, Prince Mobiles, is situated right near the local police chowki. It’s a small place, but we manage to fit a lot of tools and parts into the counters. Most of our time is spent hunched over a workbench with a tiny screwdriver in hand. We deal with a lot of cracked screens and batteries that won't hold a charge anymore. It can be tedious work because the parts are so small, and you have to be careful not to lose any screws. People are always coming in and out, asking if we can fix their phones quickly because they can’t be without them for long. We try our best to get things done, but sometimes the parts take a while to arrive. The area around the police chowki is usually pretty safe and active, so there’s always something to look at through the front window when things slow down. We have shelves lined with cases and chargers, though things often get a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a difficult repair. It’s just us here, working under the bright lights to see those tiny internal components. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything, it’s just a local spot where we handle mobile issues as they come. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast, especially when there's a line of people waiting for their devices and the phone won’t stop ringing. We close the shutters when the lights from the chowki start to get bright in the evening.
