If you come down to G.I.D.C. Panoli, you will find Premier Minerals & Chemical Industries at Plot No. 320. We are situated directly opposite Laffans Petrochemicals Ltd. It’s a very industrial setting. Panoli is full of chemical plants and mineral processing units. The air always has a bit of a sharp smell to it. That is just how it is in this part of the district. Our plot is fairly large. We need the space for storing raw materials and the big tanks we use. Working in a G.I.D.C. area means you are surrounded by pipes, trucks, and heavy machinery. It is not the prettiest place to work, but it is functional. We have a small office at the front of the plot where we handle the billing and the phone calls. The rest is all industrial floor. We have to be careful about safety, so everyone wears their gear. The road outside is often dusty from the trucks carrying minerals. We try to keep our area clean, but it’s a constant battle. Panoli is a bit far from the main city, so most of us commute together or live nearby. We don’t have any polished brochures. We just talk to our customers and tell them what we have in stock. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We have been part of this industrial landscape for a long time.
