Pratik Gems

Pratik Gems is located at 101 Nilay Chambers. We are right in the heart of the daily action in Daliya Sheri, which is part of the Mahidharpura area. If you know anything about this part of the city, you know it is where all the gem work happens. Our office is not very big, but it is right where we need to be to stay connected. Most of the day, we are sitting at the tables under those big white lights, sorting through small packets of stones. It is quiet work, but you have to stay focused or you will miss a detail. The streets outside are always loud with traders and people moving back and forth, but once you step into the chambers, things settle down a bit. We have been in this same spot for quite some time now. We do not use any fancy software; we mostly stick to the old ways of doing things because they have always worked for us. The ledger books are usually open on the desk and the safe is tucked away in the corner. People know us around here. It is not the kind of place with a lot of marketing or highly polished signs. We just do our work, talk to the other traders on the street, and go home at the end of the day. It is a decent life and the work is steady. We like being part of the history of this street.
