Pragati Woodply

Pragati Woodply is based out here at Khajod 94. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get to us, but we’ve been in this location for a good while. The main thing you’ll notice when you visit is the smell of cut wood and the sound of heavy sheets being moved around. We handle a lot of plywood and different types of timber for all kinds of projects. It’s heavy work, so we’re usually pretty tired by the end of a long shift. The yard can get a bit muddy when it rains, but we keep the wood covered up as best as we can to keep it dry. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning; it’s mostly just the warehouse and a small desk where we keep our paperwork. Most of our customers are builders or guys doing work on their own houses in the area. They come to Khajod 94 because they know we have the stacks of material they need. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk or sales pitches. We just show you the wood, tell you the price, and help you load it into your truck if we have the hands free to help. It’s a simple way to run a business. We’ve seen the area around Khajod grow quite a bit since we first started here. Even with all the new buildings coming up, we’re still doing the same thing we have always done.
