Piply Textiles & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is located at C-1310/11 in the New Bombay Market. This is in the Umarwada area of Surat, which is a very busy place for anyone in the textile trade. Our unit is basically a large space filled with various fabrics and chemical containers. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and there is always someone shouting about a delivery. We have been here for a long time and have gotten used to the chaos of the market. Our team is just a handful of people who know their way around textiles. We don't have a big HR department or a fancy website. We mostly talk to people face-to-face or over the phone. Most of the day is spent checking the quality of the cloth and making sure the chemicals are stored properly. It is physical work and we are often tired by the end of it. Surat is famous for this industry, and we are just one small part of that big machine. We don't try to pretend we are something we’re not. We are just traders and workers trying to make a living. Sometimes we have a quiet moment for some tea, but usually, it is just non-stop moving. It’s a practical business and we don't feel the need to use marketing talk to explain it. We just do the work we know and keep moving forward.
