Our place is situated in Ranujadham Society, which is along the road that goes from Bombay Market over to Punagam Road. If you are familiar with the Puna Gam area in Surat, you will know that it is a pretty active part of the city with a lot of trade and movement happening all day long. We are at house number A-258. It is not a huge corporate tower or anything like that. It is a more modest setup that fits right into the local neighborhood. Pipavav Shipyard Ltd. has many branches, and this one handles what we need to get done here in Gujarat. Most of the time, we are busy dealing with the logistical side of things or maybe some parts and supplies that come through Surat. The traffic around the market can get a bit much in the afternoons, but we are used to it by now. We have been working from this society for a while. It feels more like a community here than just a business district. We don't have a big reception area or shiny signs everywhere. It is just a straightforward office where the staff comes in, does the work on the computers, and talks to the transporters. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the job at hand. Shipping and shipyard work can be complicated, so having a quiet home base in a place like Ranujadham helps us stay focused. We just get through the daily pile of work and go home.
