Redrose Textiles Industries Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away at Plot No. 52/P, Survey No. 66/1, Danudyoog Sahakari Sangh Ltd. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it’s basically just a big building filled with the sound of weaving and thread moving through the machines. Unlike the metal shops, it’s a bit softer here, though the machines still make plenty of noise. There’s lint everywhere, floating in the air like tiny bits of snow. We have rows of machines running most of the day. The light comes in through the high windows and hits the spools of thread. It’s actually kind of nice in the mornings. We are part of the Danudyoog Sahakari Sangh, so there are plenty of other businesses nearby, and we all kind of look out for each other. We have a small area for storing the big rolls of fabric before they get loaded onto the trucks. Our office is just a small partitioned space with a computer that’s a few years old and a lot of samples hanging on the walls. We don't really have a big sign outside, just the plot number. People who need us usually know where to find us. It’s a steady rhythm of work, day in and day out, making sure the looms are running right and the thread doesn't snap. It’s just what we do here at Plot 52/P.
