Plasto Packing

Plasto Packing is situated at Plotno. 53 in Phase Li of the Government Industrial Estate in Piparia. We focus on packing materials, mostly plastics as the name suggests. The warehouse is usually filled with tall stacks of film and bags waiting to be sent out. It can get a bit cramped inside when a big order comes in and we have to move things around. We use a lot of different machines to cut and seal the products. Sometimes the rolls are quite heavy to lift, so we use the old manual trolley we've had forever. The building has seen better days, but it keeps the rain out and gives us enough room to do the work. Piparia is a place where everyone knows each other’s business because the plots are so close. We have neighbors making all sorts of things like chemicals or car parts. We try to keep our area clean, but dust always finds a way in through the vents. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to finish the day's work and get home to our families. The lighting inside could be better, but we know where every tool is kept. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things from the machines to the loading dock. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just pack things up and keep going. The tea stall down the road is where we meet.
