We are up on the fourth floor of Madhav Arcade, specifically at No. 414. It’s a busy commercial building with a lot of different businesses coming and going. We deal with fabrics and textiles, mostly handling the wholesale side of things. Our office is often filled with rolls of cloth and swatches scattered across the tables. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We spend our days talking to weavers and then trying to find buyers who need specific types of material. The elevator in this building is sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It’s a good workout though. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us managing the orders and checking the quality of the fabric that comes in. Sometimes the colors aren't exactly what was promised, and we have to send things back, which is a real pain. We drink a lot of chai while we go over the ledgers. Most of our customers are garment makers who need steady supplies. We’ve been in this arcade for a couple of years now. It’s a decent spot, close to the main markets. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. We just have our desks, our samples, and our phones. It’s straightforward work. We try to keep our prices fair and stay on good terms with everyone in the trade. It keeps the business going steadily.
