Our shop is at U-37 in the DG Point building, right by the Parvat Patia Char Rasta. We’re very close to the Hanuman Temple, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. It’s a very busy intersection, so there’s always the sound of horns and people shouting outside our door. We deal in various hardware and building materials. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of items like screws, tools, and plastic pipes. It’s a bit of a maze inside, and sometimes we have to move three heavy boxes just to get to one small item a customer wants. We don’t have a computer system to track every single screw; we mostly just know where stuff is by memory. If you ask for something, we usually know exactly which shelf or corner it’s tucked into. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we know many of the people who live and work in Parvat Patia. It’s a community where everyone knows everyone else. We open early in the morning because that’s when the workers are heading to their jobs and need to pick up supplies for the day. We don't have a fancy website or do any advertising. People just know we’re the place near the temple where they can get what they need. We just try to be helpful and give people the right parts for their repairs. It’s a simple, busy shop.
