Narmada Textiles

Narmada Textiles is based out of units 61 and 62 in Mahendra Park Society. We are right near the TVS Auto Point in the Parvat Latiya area. It’s a bit of a trek to get back here, but we’ve been in this spot for a long time. The space is mostly filled with large rolls of cloth and heavy machinery. It’s not a place where you’ll find a fancy lobby or air conditioning. It gets pretty dusty with all the lint flying around from the textiles. We wear old clothes to work because they’re going to get dirty anyway. Most of the time, the sound of the machines is so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We don't really have a sales team. If you want something, you just come in and talk to whoever is free at the moment. We spend our mornings unloading trucks and our afternoons checking the quality of the fabric coming off the line. There’s always a layer of dust on the windows, and the floor is stained from years of work. We don't mind it, though. It’s a real place where things actually get made. We take a lunch break together around a small table in the corner, usually eating whatever we brought from home. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just focus on getting the orders ready and sent out to the markets. It’s a lot of physical work, but we are used to it by now.
