Parth Exports

Poddar Arcade stays pretty crowded most days of the week. Our spot is up in room 414, right there on Varachha Road in the Khand Bazar area of Surat. If you have ever been around here, you know how the traffic and the noise can be. It is just part of the daily life for us at Parth Exports. We spend most of our hours sitting among stacks of boxes and folders. There is always something being packed or unpacked. The office itself is nothing special, just some desks, old chairs, and a computer that is a bit slow on Monday mornings. We handle various export items, so the phone rings quite a bit with people asking about their orders or shipping times. Sometimes we have to run down to the street to meet a driver or grab a quick snack from the vendors nearby. The smell of the market is always in the air. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in, we talk about business, and we get things moving. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front windows of the arcade, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. It is a basic setup, but it works for what we do every day. Most of the staff has been here long enough that we don't even notice the chaos outside anymore.
