Parad Pharmaceuticals. We are located in Kosamba. It’s not the biggest place, but it’s where we’ve set up our roots. Being in a smaller town like this means things move at a slightly different pace than in the big cities. We don’t have to deal with the massive traffic jams of Ahmedabad or Surat, which is a relief most days. Our building is pretty modest. We focus mostly on the production and getting things packed up properly. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the details. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. It’s not a fancy environment. There’s a lot of concrete and the sound of machinery is pretty much the background noise of our lives. We have our morning routine where we check what needs to be shipped out and what materials we are running low on. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. When the weather gets really hot, the fans are always going full blast. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that; we just talk to each other if there’s a problem. It’s a practical setup for the kind of stuff we do. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure everything is counted right. It is a very simple way to run a business but it works for us.
