Himson Industrial Ceramics Ltd.

Over at 294 in the GIDC Pandesara area of Surat, we have Himson Industrial Ceramics Ltd. Ceramics is a tough business because things can be fragile, and the kilns make the whole place very hot. Our workers are used to the heat, though. We spend the day shaping and firing different ceramic components for industry use. It is a dusty environment, and you will usually find us covered in a bit of white powder by the end of the shift. Surat is a busy city, and Pandesara is one of its most active spots. There is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We do not have a fancy showroom. Everything we make is for industrial use, so it is all about function over looks. The people working here have a lot of experience with the materials. They can tell if a batch is right just by the feel of the clay. We do not use much corporate talk here. If there is a problem, we just stand around the workbench and figure out how to solve it together. It is a very hands-on way of doing things. We have stayed in this same spot for years, and we have seen the industrial estate grow around us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the clay and the ovens. It is a solid, practical business that does not need much more than hard work.
