Dahyabhai Madhubhai Patel

Dahyabhai Madhubhai Patel is based out of the Jalaram Industrial Society in Surat. We occupy units 9 and 10 there. It is located on Pandesara Road, quite close to the Hatkeshwar Mahadev temple. This area is mostly industrial, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. Our space is functional and designed for work, not for looks. We have been here for a good while, watching the neighborhood change and grow around us. The heat in Surat can be intense, but we just get on with it. We handle a lot of things manually, and there’s always something that needs fixing or moving. Most of the staff live nearby, so we have a good connection with the local community. We aren't interested in fancy talk or making ourselves sound bigger than we are. It is just a local business run by people who know the trade. You will find us at the workshop most days, wearing our regular clothes and getting our hands dirty. The temple nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We value the quiet moments when the machines stop and we can just sit for a bit. Our work is steady. We don't chase after trends. We just stick to what we know and keep the business running from our spot in Pandesara. It is a long day but it is our life.
