Padmalaxmi Enterprise

You can find us over at the Indraprasth building on Ring Road. We are at S/11, which is right across from the Sub Jail. It is a noisy part of Surat, but that is just how things are around here. We have been running Padmalaxmi Enterprise for some time now. Our day usually starts pretty early because the traffic on Ring Road gets heavy fast. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork and making sure the supplies are moving like they should. It is not a glamorous job, just regular office and warehouse work. The space in Indraprasth isn't the biggest, but we make it work by stacking things carefully. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and we just keep the fans going while we sort through the orders. We know the other shopkeepers nearby, so we usually chat for a minute during lunch. It’s a practical way to live. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the daily tasks get finished before we head home. Dealing with the trucks and deliveries on this road can be a headache, but you get used to it after a year or two. We just focus on what needs to be done today. Tomorrow will be the same kind of work, and that is fine with us. We just keep going and hope the rain doesn't flood the road again. Every day there is a different pile of boxes to sort, and we just handle it one by one until the day ends.
