Our place is down in the basement of Shop Number 10, located at House Number 5/664 in the Golwala Chakla area of Surat. We are right on Haripura Main Road, very close to the Jain Mandir. If you know that part of Surat, you know it is an old, crowded area full of history and busy markets. Being in a basement shop means we don't have much of a view, but we are right in the heart of the trading district. We are a small firm run by brothers, and we handle various import and export goods. It is a family-oriented vibe here, and we often have neighbors or friends dropping by for a chat. The streets outside are narrow and always full of scooters and delivery carts. We spend a lot of time managing local logistics and making sure our international paperwork is in order. It can be a bit chaotic with the noise from the main road, but we have gotten used to the rhythm over the years. We don't use any fancy management techniques. We just talk to each other and get the work done. Dealing with the customs office and the shipping agents takes up most of our energy. We are just trying to keep the legacy of our work going in this traditional part of the city. It is hard work, often involves heavy lifting or long hours, but it’s what we know how to do.
