We are based out of the Safari Complex in Bhestan, specifically at unit number 15. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement every day. We make various kinds of tapes here. If you walk into our space, you’ll probably smell the adhesive and hear the sound of the cutting machines. It’s not a quiet office environment. We have rolls of tape stacked up against the walls in different sizes and colors. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky, which I guess is expected in this line of work. We handle everything from the packing to the loading ourselves. It’s a small operation, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One minute I’m answering the phone, and the next I’m helping move a box to the delivery truck. The complex is usually full of other small businesses, so there’s always people moving around outside. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come to the door and tell us what they need. We check the stock, write out a bill, and that’s it. It’s simple, honest work. Sometimes the heat in Bhestan gets a bit much, but we have some fans going to keep us moving. We’ve been here for a while and most of the other shop owners are our friends. It’s just a regular day of making sure the tape is cut right and the orders are ready on time.
