Our place is Octus Industries Pvt Ltd and we are situated at F/12 in Surat City. It is an industrial area, so there are always sounds of machines or trucks nearby. The unit at F/12 is where we spend our entire day. It is a big open space with a lot of metal and hard floors. We have a small office section partitioned off, but most of the action happens out on the main floor. The air smells a bit like oil and dust, which is normal for a place like this in Surat City. We have a small crew of people who have been working together for years. We know each other well and we just get on with the jobs we have. There isn't any fancy furniture or air conditioning in the main part of the building. We just use big fans to keep the air moving. Every morning we open up the big gates and start the day's work. It is a lot of physical labor and staying on your feet. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. If you call, you just get one of us. We are just a local industry doing our thing in our corner of the city. It is honest work and we stay busy from start to finish. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
