Novel Jewels

Our shop is located in the Golden Plaza, units U-28 and 29. We’re right on the Pune Satara Road in the Adajan area, which is pretty convenient since we are right in front of the State Bank. Prime Arcade is also just a short walk away. We’ve been here for a while, selling jewelry to the local folks. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep a good variety of pieces in the glass cases. It’s not like those massive chain stores you see in the malls. It’s just us here, usually me and a couple of assistants. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass because of all the fingerprints and making sure the lights are hitting the pieces just right. The plaza can get a bit noisy with people coming and going from the bank, but inside it’s usually calm. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine for customers or anything; we usually just offer some water or tea if they’re staying a while to decide. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up in the peak of summer, but we make do. People come to us because they know we’ve been in the neighborhood for years. We aren't trying to sell anyone something they don't need. We just show what we have and let people take their time. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it’s served us well so far.
