Nilesh Motor Garrage

If you go down Varachha Road and get to Jai Muni Roa Circle 9, you will find Nilesh Motor Garrage. It’s a place that’s always a bit greasy and loud because there is always some car engine running or someone using a wrench. We spend most of our time under hoods or crawling under chassis to see what’s leaking or rattling. It’s hard work, and our clothes are never really clean, but that is just the way a garage is. We handle all kinds of cars, mostly just the regular ones people drive to work every day. Varachha Road is always packed, so we get plenty of people dropping in because their engine overheated in the traffic or they heard a weird noise near the circle. We don't have a big waiting room or fancy coffee; usually, people just stand around or sit on a plastic chair while we take a look. Sometimes the parts take a day to arrive, so the cars sit out front for a bit. It’s just me and a couple of others working here. We know the regulars by their cars more than their names sometimes. It’s a simple life of fixing things that are broken and making sure the brakes work. The circle near us is a good landmark, so people find us easily enough. We stay open until late most nights, making sure the last car is out of the way before we lock up the tools and head home ourselves.
