Shubham Textiles

Shubham Textiles is located at No. 408 in the Sai Ashram Market. We are right on the Ring Road, which is always packed with trucks and people moving fabric around. It’s a noisy part of town but that’s where the textile market is. We’ve been in this unit for quite a few years now. The space is filled with rolls of cloth from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it is hard to walk through the aisles. We don’t mind it much because it means we have plenty to do. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too hot. Dealing with textiles is what we know. We didn't go to school for business, we just learned it by helping out. My uncle used to be in this line of work too. We check the quality of the bits that come in and make sure they go out to the right people. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying. We don’t have a website with fancy photos. If someone wants to see what we have, they usually just come by the shop. The market atmosphere is something you get used to. There are tea stalls nearby where we get our morning chai. It’s a simple life, just trading and talking to customers. We try to keep our head down and get the work done without making a fuss.
