Seema Silk Mills

Seema Silk Mills is located in the New Textile Market, which is on the busy Ring Road. We have three units here, numbers 134, 135, and 136, all joined together. If you have ever been to the Ring Road market, you know how crowded and loud it is. There are people everywhere and bundles of cloth being moved on carts and on people's backs. Our space is mostly taken up by big rolls of silk fabric. We have the units open so it is easy to move things in and out, but it can get very dusty with all the activity in the market. The lights inside are bright so we can see the different shades of silk clearly. We spend our whole day talking to different traders and sorting through the stock. There isn't much room to walk around once the new shipments arrive. It is a lot of hard work and the building can get very warm in the afternoon. We have a small table where we sit to handle the accounts and write out bills. It is not a quiet office by any means, as you can always hear the shouting and the horns from the street below. We have been in the New Textile Market for many years now and we are used to the chaos. It is just a part of the silk business here on Ring Road. We just keep at it and make sure the rolls are where they need to be.
