New Pansuria Watch Co

We sit here right opposite the police station at the Avenue Road cross in Katargam. It’s been a good spot for New Pansuria Watch Co for a long time now. Most days, you’ll find us hunched over a workbench with those tiny magnifying glasses tucked into our eyes. It’s quiet work, mostly, except for the ticking of the wall clocks when the street noise dies down. People come in with all sorts of things, from old family pieces that stopped working years ago to cheap digital ones that just need a new battery. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a counter, some stools, and a lot of small drawers filled with pins and gears. Sometimes the police officers from across the road drop by to check the time or get a strap tightened. We know most of the faces around here by now. If a watch is running slow, we take a look and see what’s stuck inside. It's usually just some dust or a worn-out spring. We keep things pretty simple. You won't find any big sales pitches here. We just fix what's broken and give it back. The light in the shop isn't the brightest, but it works for what we do. It’s just how things are at this corner. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but the clocks keep on ticking the same as they always did.
