Vansh Textile

Vansh Textile is located right in the middle of the bustle at Shop No. 1307 in the C Wing. Being near Sahara Darwaja means there is always traffic and people moving around with big bundles of cloth on their shoulders. Our shop isn't huge, but we pack it full of whatever fabric we are dealing with that week. It’s a bit of a climb or a squeeze sometimes depending on how much stock just arrived. We spend most of the day unfolding things for people to see and then folding them back up again. It gets dusty, and the tea seller knows exactly when we need a break. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here, talking to the regular buyers and making sure the piles of cloth don't fall over. Sahara Darwaja is a place where you have to be quick, or you get left behind. We know the other shopkeepers, and we all deal with the same heat and the same busy seasons. If someone asks for a specific color or a certain type of weave, we go looking through the shelves until we find it. It's a lot of manual work and standing on our feet. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just sell textiles and try to keep the shop running smoothly every day. It’s a lot of lifting and organizing, but that's the textile business for you.
