N C Rupaewala & Co

Our place is at 2/1161 in Sagrampura, right near the Isanpur Highway Cross Road. It is an old building, and you can tell by the way the walls look and how the doors creak. We have been here at N C Rupaewala & Co for a lot of years. The highway is always humming with cars and trucks, so there is never a moment of true silence. We don't mind it much. The office is a bit dark because the windows are small, but we have plenty of lamps. It’s mostly just desks piled high with papers and old files that we haven’t gotten around to shredding yet. We are a small team, and we have known each other for a long time, so we don't have to be formal. Someone is always bringing in some snacks or making a pot of tea. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in fancy suits. We wear what’s comfortable and get the work done. Sagrampura is a busy area, and being near the cross road means we get all sorts of people walking by. Sometimes people pop in just to ask for directions. We help them out and then get back to our ledgers. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't have any big goals to be a giant company. We just want to finish our work properly and keep the office running for another year.
