My Travels Guide

We are located right here in Ambaji Market on Ring Road, specifically at G-1047 and 1048. If you know Surat, you know how busy it gets near Kamela Darwaja. My Travels Guide is basically a small office where we spend most of our day looking at screens and talking to people who want to go somewhere else for a while. It gets pretty loud outside with all the trucks and rickshaws, but we are used to it by now. We handle a lot of different things like bus tickets and train bookings. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to tell people to wait a bit. It is not a fancy place with leather sofas, just some plastic chairs and a lot of registers. People come in from the market shops nearby when they finally have a break. They ask about prices to get to Delhi or maybe down south. We try to find what fits for them. Usually, we are here from morning until quite late because that is when the market crowd finally has time to talk. It is a lot of back and forth on the phone with agents and airlines. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the routes well enough to help out. It's simple work but it keeps us busy every single day of the week. We just try to get the bookings done right so nobody gets stuck at the station.
