Mukesh Kanthariya

I’m Mukesh Kanthariya. My spot is located at number 15 along Elphinstone Road. It is right near the Katargam Darwaza, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. If you know that gate, you won't have any trouble finding us. The building is simple, nothing that stands out too much from the street. I’ve been in this area for a long time. Katargam has a specific feel to it, very traditional in some ways but always moving. Our daily routine is pretty basic. I open up in the morning, check what needs to be done, and get to it. Sometimes the street gets very crowded, especially near the Darwaza when the markets are full. You can hear the sounds of the traffic and people talking all day. It’s not a quiet place, but it feels like home. I don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly know me by word of mouth or because they walk past every day on their way to work. The interior is just functional. A few chairs, a desk, and whatever equipment we need for the day's tasks. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. No big promises, just doing what we know how to do. Stop by if you’re near the gate.
