M/S. Essar Steel Ltd. - Hazira (Surat- Gujarat).

We’ve been set up here in Adajan for a while now, right near the L.P. Savani Circle at the Deepanjali building. It’s a busy part of Surat, mostly people moving around and traffic during the rush hours. The office handles things for the Hazira site, so there’s always paperwork moving back and forth. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons here, but we just keep the fans going and get through the logs. Most of the staff comes in from around the city, and we usually grab lunch at the local spots nearby if we didn’t bring something from home. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office floor with desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with the steel side of things, keeping track of what’s happening at the plant. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phone won't stop ringing, but that's just how it is. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops pop up and the circle gets busier every month. Our address at number 17 is easy enough to find once you know the landmark of the circle. We don’t do much in the way of big meetings here, mostly just the daily grind of keeping the numbers straight and making sure the logistics for Hazira are sorted out. It’s practical work for practical people. We stay until the job is done and then head home through the Adajan traffic. Some days are longer than others, especially when the shipments are delayed, but we just manage it.
