Modi Vinodchandra

You can find Vinodchandra Modi over at the Ram Darbar Swekar Apartment. We are located at 11/374 B on the second floor. The building is tucked away in Ramjini Pole, which is one of those traditional spots in Surat that has a lot of history. Being on the second floor means we have to climb a few flights of stairs every day, which keeps us moving I suppose. The apartment is not very large, but it is enough space for what we need to do. It feels more like a home than a corporate office because of how the building is designed. We have some old wooden furniture that has been with us for years. The windows look out over the street below, and you can hear the sounds of the vendors selling vegetables in the morning. It is a very local way of living and working. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, but we just take a break and wait for it to come back on. We don't have a receptionist, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes to answer it. It is a simple life here in the pole. We know most of the families living in the other apartments, and it feels like a real community. If you are looking for us, just look for the Swekar sign near the entrance. It has been there for years.
