Mehasana Tyre Retraders

We are Mehasana Tyre Retraders, located in Surat at the R R Compound. Our specific spot is on 9th A Main, 3rd Block, right opposite the Hojiwala Gate No 1. If you've ever been around here, you know it’s an industrial kind of place. We spend our days working on tyres, specifically retreading them so they can be used again. It is a process that involves a lot of heat and the smell of old rubber. It isn't a smell everyone likes, but we’ve grown quite fond of it over the years. Our shop is in a compound, so it’s not like a retail store on a high street. It’s a workspace first and foremost. We have tools and machinery all over the place. Most of our day is spent bent over tyres, checking the tread and making sure the work is done right. It’s physical and sometimes quite dirty, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we enjoy. Being across from Hojiwala Gate No 1 means we see a lot of industrial activity. We don't have a marketing department or a polished website. We just rely on the fact that we've been here doing this for a long time. People find us because they need their tyres fixed, and we are the ones who do it. It’s a simple, honest business. We don't make any big promises; we just do the retreading work as best as we can every day.
