We've been here at Plot No. 12 13 in the Daanganga Indl. Estate for quite a while now. Silvassa gets incredibly hot during the day, especially in the summer months, but we keep the machines running regardless. We deal with aluminium mostly, so there is always a lot of scrap metal and small shavings on the floor that need sweeping up. There is a lot of noise on the factory floor from the cutting and the grinding machines, but it is just a normal part of the day for us. People often come by Masat looking for specific metal parts or just to check on their current orders. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular industrial shed with a lot of heavy metal lying around in stacks. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck near Survey No. 328/1/1/2 if the monsoon rain is very heavy and the road gets muddy. We usually start quite early in the morning before the humidity gets too bad to handle. There are a few of us here who have seen this whole area change over the last decade. It used to be much quieter around here. Now there are sheds and factories everywhere you look. We just focus on getting the cuts right and making sure the stacks are ready for the morning pickup. It's dusty work, and you get used to the smell of the shop floor after a few weeks. Most of our neighbors are doing similar industrial things, so we all know each other well.
