Sdowells Electricals

Sdowells Electricals is based at Plot No. 2B in the Govt. Ind. Estate. It’s a compact space, but it serves us well. The industrial estate has been here for years, and we’ve been in this particular plot for a good portion of that time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We have shelves stacked high with all sorts of electrical components. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a big shipment in. We spend a lot of time sorting through wires and boxes. The office part is just a couple of desks near the front window. You can see the other units from there. Most of the people working in the estate know each other. We say hello when we’re out getting water or checking the mail. The noise from the other plots is just a constant hum in the background. It feels strange when it’s too quiet. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back to keep things lively. The electricity here is mostly reliable, which is lucky considering our name. We have a small workbench where we test things out before they go out the door. It’s not a fancy setup, but it’s ours. We know exactly where every screw and fuse is kept, even if it looks a bit cluttered to anyone else. It's just our way of working here.
