Polyfab is tucked away in 2-A at the Govt. Indl. Estate. We have been here for a good amount of time, mostly working with the same group of people every day. It is an industrial area, so there is always a lot of noise and dust from the neighboring units. The gate is usually open because of the deliveries coming in and out. Our floor is packed with rolls of material and scraps that need clearing. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. We have a few old machines that keep the rhythm of the place going. It isn't a showroom by any means. There are stains on the floor and some clutter in the corners where we keep the spare parts. We spend our time checking orders and making sure things get loaded on the trucks properly. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just sit around the shade of the loading dock until it comes back. It is just a regular workplace where people show up, do their shift, and go home to their families. We don't have a big office or anything. It’s just the shed and a small desk where the phone sits. We try to keep things moving as much as we can. It’s a lot of manual work and sweating, but that is how it goes in this estate. Everyone knows everyone else around here, so we often share news over tea at the stall outside the main gate. That’s about it for us.
