We are located up on the sixth floor of Centre Point, which is right in Surat Dudheshwar near the Kadiwala School. It is quite a walk up if the lift is being slow, but we are used to it by now. From office 606, you can hear the sounds from the school during the day, which keeps things from being too quiet. Manoj Makhania And Company is basically just a few of us working away at our desks with the usual office supplies scattered around. The windows let in some light, but mostly we just focus on the tasks at hand. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits this side of the building. We started here a while back and the routine hasn't changed much. You come in, put your bag down, and start going through whatever is on the desk. Sometimes the hallways are busy with people going to other offices in Centre Point, but we mostly stay in our own space. It is a practical spot for us to be. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations, just the basic stuff we need to get through the day. Sometimes we grab a snack from a nearby stall when we need a break from the computers. It is a normal office life here in Surat, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep doing our thing and hope the lift stays working for the ride down at the end of the day.
