Manager Administration

My office is located at G1/12 in the Nand Niketan area of Hazira. It is right near the Essar Steel plant in Surat. Being out here in Hazira means we are surrounded by heavy industry, but the Nand Niketan colony is where we handle the administration. I am the one who makes sure the office runs smoothly. I deal with the paperwork, the supplies, and the general day-to-day coordination. It is a lot of work between different departments. The office isn't anything special. It is a standard room with a few desks and some cupboards for all the records we have to keep. Surat is a busy city, but out here it feels a bit different because of the industrial focus. We do not put much stock in being flashy. We just want to make sure the admin side does not slow anyone else down. Sometimes the phone rings all morning and other times it is quiet enough to actually get through the filing. I have been working out of this spot for a good while. You get used to the sounds of the plant in the distance. It is a straightforward environment. We do not have a lot of meetings about our vision or anything like that. We just look at what needs to be filed and what needs to be signed. It is just honest work in a busy industrial hub.
