Mahim Architect

Our office is at 201 in the Sns Business Park. If you know University Road in Vesu, you know it’s a fairly active area these days. Mahim Architect isn't some massive corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team working out of this space in Surat. We chose this spot because it's convenient for getting to different parts of the city. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our computers, a big table for layouts, and far too many rolls of blueprints leaning in the corners. It gets a bit cluttered during the middle of a project, but we usually know where everything is. The business park has a lot of other offices, so there’s always people moving around the hallways. We don't really go for the high-end decor; we’d rather spend that on better tools for our work. Most days are spent on the phone or sketching out ideas. We deal with a lot of the local regulations and paperwork that comes with building stuff here. It can be a bit slow and frustrating sometimes, but we’ve learned how to navigate it over the years. We aren't really the type to wear suits and ties every day. It's a casual place, and we focus more on making sure the drawings are right. If you’re coming by, there’s usually parking in the basement, which helps because the street outside gets very crowded by mid-morning.
