Mahendra Gusain & Associates

Our office for Mahendra Gusain & Associates is located in Udhyog Nagar, right on Athwa Lines Road. We are in room A 201. Being in an industrial area like Udhyog Nagar means there’s always a lot of activity and noise around us. It suits us fine because our work is often about practical, sturdy designs. The office itself is quite functional. We have large tables for looking at blueprints and a few computers for the technical side of things. Mahendra spends a lot of his time talking to clients and going over the site requirements. We try to keep things simple and avoid overcomplicating the designs. The walls of the office are mostly bare, except for a few maps of the local area and a calendar that’s always marked up with deadlines. We get a lot of natural light through the windows in the morning. Usually, the first thing we do is put on the kettle and go through the mail. We have a lot of people dropping in to discuss their projects, so the chairs are rarely empty for long. It’s a busy environment but we manage to keep things moving. We don’t really do marketing or anything like that; people just know we are here. Working in Athwa Lines gives us a good connection to the rest of the city, and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the people around us. It is just our daily routine.
