If you walk down Udhna Main Road, you will eventually see the Gurudwara. We are right opposite that, in the Gurunagar Society. Mahadev Auto Marketing has been operating from this spot for a good while. The road outside is almost always loud with trucks and rickshaws going past, which is just part of living and working in Udhna. We spend our time managing parts and talking to mechanics who stop by. It’s a straightforward business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or expensive furniture. Most of our shelves are heavy wood or metal, piled high with whatever came in on the last delivery. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when a lot of people come in at once, especially during the monsoon when everyone wants to stay dry. We know most of the shop owners around here, and it’s a tight community. You get to know people’s names and what they drive. Dealing with auto marketing means you have to keep track of a lot of numbers and types of engines. It can be confusing if you’re new to it, but we’ve been doing this long enough that it’s second nature. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front bit of the shop, and wait for the first customer. There’s no big secret to it. We just stay honest about what we have in stock. If we are out of something, we just say so and tell them when it's coming.
