We are located out in Ichhapore, specifically at 59/60/61. Being in an industrial area like this means we are surrounded by a lot of noise and big machinery, which suits us just fine. Our work involves infrastructure projects, so we are often dealing with blueprints, heavy equipment, and a lot of dirt. The office is usually a bit of a mess with site boots near the door and rolls of drawings spread out over the tables. We spend more time out in the sun at various sites than we do sitting under the fan here. Ichhapore gets quite hot, and you can feel it even inside the building. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, mostly just maps and schedules pinned up with tape. It's a lot of coordination, making sure the trucks are where they need to be and the workers have what they need to keep moving. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, like when a machine breaks down or the rain stops us from digging. We just deal with it as it comes. It's not a glamorous job, but we like seeing things get built from the ground up. Most of us have been in this line of work for years, so we know the local terrain pretty well by now. We focus on the site work and getting the concrete poured correctly rather than making the office look good for visitors.
