Lighttree

Our workplace, Lighttree, is located at B-54/Part-2 in the Shubham Industrial Estate. It’s near Shania Hemand Village, out along Kadodara Road. The drive out here can be long depending on the traffic, but once you’re in the estate, it’s a good place to work. We share the building with a few other small outfits. Inside Lighttree, things are usually a bit cluttered. We have rows of shelves for the inventory and a few long tables for assembly. We aren't big on decorations; the walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and some safety notes. Most of our guys come from the nearby villages. We know each other well and work at a steady pace. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or air conditioning in every room. We mostly keep the shutters open for the breeze. Sometimes we have to deal with delays in getting parts, and that can be frustrating, but we just tell the customers the truth. We don't use a lot of corporate talk. If we can do a job, we say so. If we can't, we don't lead people on. It’s a basic way of doing business, but it’s worked for us so far. The days go by fast when we have a lot of orders to fill. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get everything shipped out before the courier arrives in the evening.
