We’ve been working out of Ghanshyam Nagar on Street No. 10 for a good while now. It’s a busy spot here off L.H Road, and our space at 233/234 stays pretty packed most days. We mostly handle different types of fabrics and clothes, just making sure everything gets finished the way it’s supposed to. It’s a small operation with just a few of us keeping track of the orders and making sure the machines keep running. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit much, but we’re used to it. We started out small and just kept going, mostly because people around here knew where to find us. We don’t really have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a place where work gets done. Most mornings start early with checking the new stock that comes in. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and making sure the stitching is okay. If something isn't right, we just fix it and move on. It’s not always easy, especially when things get busy during the festival times, but we manage. We’ve stayed in this same neighborhood because it feels right and our neighbors are good people. Usually, you’ll find us drinking tea in the afternoon while sorting through the day’s work. There’s always something to do, whether it’s packing boxes or talking to the delivery guys. We just try to get through the list every day and come back the next morning to do it again.
