Laxmi Bags & Graphics

Laxmi Bags & Graphics is tucked away at No. 20/21 in the Akshar Complex. We are right on Road No. 0, which is very close to the Udhna Railway Station. You can actually hear the trains if it’s a quiet morning, but it’s rarely quiet around here. Being near the station means there is always a rush of people. We handle two different things really. One side is all about the bags—totes, duffels, and the like. The other side is the graphics part where we deal with printing and designs. The smell of fresh ink sometimes mixes with the smell of the vinyl we use for the bags. It’s a bit of a strange combination but we got used to it. The shop is often cluttered with boxes and half-finished projects. We use big tables for cutting the material and another area for the computer work. Sometimes we get a bit behind when the machines act up, but that’s just part of the job. Most of our customers are locals or people who work near the station. They want something that looks okay but really needs to last through their daily commute. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making the shop look like a showroom. We’d rather just get the work done and make sure the handles are stitched on tight before someone picks up their order.
