Lakhani Filaments Pvt Ltd is based right here on Ring Road at Lakhani House. It’s situated just behind J K Tower, which most people in the area know. The building is an older style, and we’ve been working out of here for quite a while. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the machines and the rustle of the filaments being moved around. It can get quite loud, so we usually have to raise our voices a bit when we’re talking to each other. The office part is pretty basic with some old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that because the focus is always on the production side. The Ring Road traffic makes it easy for trucks to get in and out, though the congestion can be a headache in the mornings. We have a small crew and everyone just knows their job. There isn't a lot of hierarchy; if something needs moving, we all help out. The air smells a bit like plastic and industrial oil, but you get used to it after the first few weeks. We just keep our heads down and make sure the orders are filled and the machines stay running. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps the business going. We are just a local operation trying to keep things steady and moving along.
