Lacxo

Our place is in the Kohinoor textile market, shop number 82. If you’ve ever been to the Ring Road in Surat, you know how hectic it gets. There are thousands of shops around here, and we are just one of them doing our thing with textiles. Lacxo is the name on the board, but most people just know us as the guys in shop 82. We spend our days surrounded by rolls of fabric and stacks of samples. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy bundles around. The market is always loud, with people shouting prices and porters carrying loads on their heads. We don't have a fancy office; it’s mostly just shelves and a small desk where we handle the bills and write down orders. Sometimes the heat in the market gets a bit much, but we have a couple of fans that help us stay sane. We deal with all sorts of people, from big buyers to small tailors looking for a few meters of something specific. It’s a fast-paced environment and you have to be quick or you get left behind. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop on the Ring Road, just trying to keep the inventory moving and the numbers right. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but that’s the textile business for you. We’ve been here for years and we don't plan on going anywhere else because this is where we belong.
